FAQ

Questions people ask before they trust a ranking

How is the TC Score calculated?

From three weighted blocks: execution (35%) — spread and commission; freedom (30%) — leverage, profit split and what your strategy is allowed to do; and rules (35%) — profit target, drawdown, per-trade risk cap and consistency. Every input is scored against the live cohort of firms rather than a fixed ideal, so a firm at the cohort average sits mid-table, and the result is stretched onto a 50–90 display band.

Do prop firms pay to rank higher?

No. No firm can pay for its position or its TC Score, and no commercial payment changes any input to the score. Sponsored offers do exist — they are labelled "Sponsored" where they appear, and a sponsor that is also a ranked firm is scored by exactly the same formula as everyone else.

Are these prop firms regulated?

Almost certainly not in the sense you mean. We record a licence status for each firm, and none of the firms listed here is supervised by a financial regulator. Where you see "registered", that means a company incorporation exists and nothing more — it is not a licence, and it does not put a regulator between you and your account.

Which prop firms accept traders from Iran?

We track country eligibility and accepted payment methods per firm, so you can filter the leaderboard down to the ones open to you before you look at anything else. Firms change these terms without notice, so treat the filter as a shortlist and confirm on the firm’s own site before paying.

Where do the spreads come from?

For firms on our live feed, we run a terminal on that firm's own evaluation server and read XAUUSD as it moves — that is the number on the live spread board. For firms not on the feed, the figure is the one the firm publishes, which we have not independently measured.

Does MyFxKit sell challenges?

No. We are not a prop firm and not a broker, and nothing is bought here. You buy from the firm directly on its own site. Some links carry a discount code from a sponsor; the offer is theirs, the price you pay is theirs, and using one does not change what we say about them.
