Corrections

How to tell us something is wrong, what happens next, and how long it takes.

4 sections~2 min readVersion 1.0

Prop firm terms change without notice and we get things wrong. The useful question is not whether a comparison site has errors — it is whether it fixes them, how fast, and whether it says so afterwards. This page is the commitment.

01 · How to report

Email admin@myfxkit.com

Include the firm, the field you believe is wrong, and where the correct value can be seen — ideally a link to the firm’s own page. A screenshot helps but the source link is what lets us verify it.

You do not need an account, and you do not need to explain who you are.

02 · What we commit to

Reviewed within 7 days

We will review any reported error within 7 days. That is deliberately a number we can keep rather than an impressive one — a promise of 24 hours we miss half the time is worth less than a week we always meet.

If you are right, we fix the data and the change appears in the change log. If we cannot verify your correction from a primary source, we will say so rather than quietly ignoring it.

03 · What counts as verified

We need the firm’s own source

A correction is applied when it can be traced to the firm’s own published material — its rules page, terms, or help centre — or to a regulator or registry. See the editorial policy for the full ordering.

We cannot apply a correction on the strength of a screenshot alone, because we have no way to check when it was taken or whether it was edited. That is not distrust of you; it is the same standard we apply to our own research.

04 · When we get it wrong publicly

Material corrections are logged, not silently patched

If a published figure was wrong in a way that could have changed someone’s decision — a price, a drawdown rule, a licensing status — the fix is recorded in the change log with what it was and what it became.

Quietly editing a number and moving on is the easier option and we have decided against it. A comparison site that never appears to be wrong is either extraordinarily lucky or not telling you something.
