Common questions
How many prop firms does MyFxKit track?
The directory currently lists 12 prop firms and 197 challenges. Each was added by hand and its trading conditions checked against the firm’s own published rules. The list is deliberately short: the choice is between unverified claims about dozens of firms or verified ones about fewer, and MyFxKit takes the second.
How are the firms ranked?
By the best TC Score among their plans. The TC Score is computed from published trading conditions — spread, commission, risk rules, profit split and several other inputs — using one function applied identically to every firm. Commercial payment is not an input to it.
Are any of these prop firms financially regulated?
None of them. On the data MyFxKit has verified, no listed firm carries a regulated status. What some of them have is a company registration, which means only that a legal entity exists somewhere — not that a financial regulator supervises the business. Confusing those two is the most common misunderstanding in this industry, and MyFxKit keeps them deliberately separate.
How current is each firm’s data?
Every plan carries its own last-verified date, set when someone checked its values against the firm’s published source. When something changes — or when we had it wrong — it is published in the change log, with the two kept visibly separate.
